Tipoabor prosper Said, Nkwanta South Constituency is under development due to its one Way Of Choosing Political Representatives

On 20th July, 2023, one of vibrant Tesconian of university of education wenneba (UEW) Tipoabor Npoayiba Prosper Jehoshaphat, popularly known as KASSAVA  came out to clear the air that his constituency Nkwanta south is lack of development because of the one way of choosing parliamentary candidates. He said Nkwanta South constituency is one of the luckiest constituencies in the Oti-region which is prone to rapid development, because of the geographical area the town is located and adding to that, it is peaceful town with hardworking youth. According to him, his reason of saying that is that, Before a constituency will develop, it will depend on the competency of the political leaders in that particular constituency, although I’m not saying that the political leaders there are not competent but they are lack of challenge. According to him, he said if a member of paliament knows very well that whether he or she deliver his or her services well or not he or she will still win, do you think he will take it serious for the development of the constituency? The one-way political party knows very well that whether they performed well or not the people will still vote for them, so they will not have time for the ordinary people in the constituency. He again added that Nkwanta has all what it takes to gain the capital city but because of our resistance to change they gave to Dambai. He also appeals to all the Chiefs and every member of Nkwanta sought constituency that, they should change that partisan politics and rather have their focus on those who are willing to do the work. He added that they should compare Nkwanta South constituency to any other constituencies that normally change their way of voting, and rather stop saying other constituencies has competent leaders than ours. There is no constituency with competent leaders than Nkwanta south, the problem is from we the voters, because we don’t challenge them. Any of the parties that will joke they should vote that particular party out, and see whether they will start experiencing development or not.
